The Silk Road: Bukhara - a city calling the desert. The wind in Bukhara carries the scents of desert. The air is thick, and the sky looks dusted with sand, a pale and heavy blue. House walls, the same terracotta color of the land itself, are barely recognisable from afar – a distant mirage rising out of the dust.
