"live the present moment"
Midwinter is a season of bare trees, grey skies, misty and foggy mornings, and cold hands. But, I love it. Midwinter is a period of subdued harmony and introspective thoughts. The nature offers deep and rich colours: dark evergreens, earthy ground covered in hummus, damp from the icy droplets after the freezing black nights.
In the depth of Midwinter I come to realise that while our surroundings may appear barren and dull on the surface, beneath the ground, life is already being created. An invisible nectar nurturing the stillness. And, I love noticing these subtle changes, although it may take an little bit of effort to appreciate their significance and beauty, in a world that may appear empty and dark.

Like a delicate plant shoot, we wrap ourselves in cosy layers of wool during Winter. A time for restoration of energy and wiser awareness. Therefore this capsule collection is profoundly inspired by the gentle nature of Midwinter, embracing both its chill and its undeniable softness. To capture fully this coziness, I have selected warm wool and tweeds that are like a protective shield anywhere you are. Soft and feminine shirts complement this by being a versatile layering piece, perfect to feel elegant and bohemian in your winter walks.

The colour palette is dedicated to the natural motion of the evergreen winter leaves and the tree branches during a blurry and rainy day, the brown and amber of the dried plants along a coastline walk in the outskirts of Dublin. A garden resting in its majesty has been a great canvas to connect the collection to its soothing nature. It is there any magic in discovering a secret garden all by yourself, isn't?
This time of the year is an unmissable chance to reflect both inwardly and outwardly in the small moments of joy we choose to see... and this collection is an invitation to do so.
