vintage beauty

"beauty"

a combination of qualities, such a shape, colour or form,

that pleases the aesthetic senses or the mind

when loving a sense of beauty, does not just mean considering a material item, but also the process: not only the artefact but also the creator. in this perspective objects as well as clothing are not merely "things" but "goods", where the value is not given by a price tag, but the emotional intensity that the artisan knows to convey*.

...in the same way when I've began visualising my own creative being and exploring the concept of beauty I have perceived it more like an encompassing journey.

in my daily life I keep finding beauty by giving space to slow motion: a one step after the other walk while I'm listening to my inner voice guiding me to a better alignment with my true intentions and needs. this sense of beauty is grounded in the hope that following my own inner rhythm will nourish my mind, my spirit and expand my creative flow with moments of inspiration.

...further unfolding my vision to my style, it goes hand in hand with my attention to details impacting the aesthetic composition. vintage beauty is, beyond the materials, a projection of elegance through a curated tailoring, crafting and designing, where the (he)art of assembling fabrics and materials, are still coming through by touching them, and the final result reveals into mere emotion to the witnessing eye and mind.

vintage beauty is also transition (most loving the empowerment behind changes) from an era to another while nevertheless remaining in its essence timeless: it is the softness and the delicacy of the materials I am carefully selecting that show how the nature is able to give to the humanity such rawness and then lead to transformation into a piece of happiness, that can stand the force of time.

Blackpool Railing (1951) by Bert Hardy from ELLE Italia

on my vintage-oriented imagination the need for beauty lies in the creative doing as well as in the actual seeing - it is a concentrate of emotions, it is a journey and an iterative process, never completed always beginning.

within this concept, Nour Luna's collections and philosophy are a synthesis, an ensemble, of small encounters embracing natural colours, fine fabrics and the ultimate care in the balance that lies only in details and textured lights. Nour Luna's expression invites like in moon phases to look for wholeness as facets make an infinite composition. the collected vintage pieces, which I select personally, are beautiful as lone object de art or together: vintage beauty is a synchronisation of elegance enabling countless possibilities of styling; an interpretation of elegance in its fluidity.

together with the intention to give to the world a little inspiration on how I imagine vintage beauty and to look forward to share this journey into fashion and design discoveries, I want to release my creative being into an entire vision around beauty as well as an intentional slow pace lifestyle.

Nour Luna's is vintage beauty, is slow motion creativity and it is an art de vivre...
